We are proud to offer nutritious, balanced, and enjoyable meals for all pupils. School dinners are provided by Sodexo, a leading catering company with extensive experience in delivering high-quality meals in schools. Their menus are carefully planned to ensure children receive the right balance of nutrients to support their growth, health, and learning.
Sodexo operate menus on a 3 weekly cycle which includes a main and vegetarian course. Copies of the menus for this term are attached below.
Meals are freshly prepared and offer a variety of options each day, including hot meals, vegetarian choices, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, salads and pasta. Special dietary requirements and allergies can be accommodated and when your child starts at school with us, this will be discussed with you if you let us know your child has a special dietary requirement.
We encourage all children to enjoy school meals as they provide a great opportunity to try new foods and develop healthy eating habits in a social setting.
Your child may be eligible for free school meals if you receive certain benefits. Registering for free school meals not only ensures your child receives a healthy meal each day but also helps the school access additional funding to support learning.
If you think you may be eligible, we strongly encourage you to apply. The application process is quick and confidential. Please contact the school office or visit your local authority’s website for more information.
All children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. This means that every child in these year groups can enjoy a free, healthy meal at school every day, regardless of household income.
We encourage all families to take advantage of this provision, as it supports children’s wellbeing, concentration, and readiness to learn.
